For my creative writing class I created a sample blog called "New Jersey's Budgeted Bucket List". I love to travel and explore new places, but there truly is nothing like the state where you grew up. In this blog I explain different ways to have fun in New Jersey, at a low cost.

Welcome to New Jersey’s Budgeted Bucket List! This blog will highlight the best ways to have adventurous fun in the state, for a low cost. 

My name is Kayla Eversen, and I have always had a passion for exploring new places and living an exciting lifestyle. I’ve lived in New Jersey for 18 years and started exploring all of the unique, cheap activities my state has to offer five years ago. As a child, I thought that New Jersey was a boring place. I even believed that I had already done all of the fun things it had to offer. However, as I did more research, I realized I was wrong!

I discovered so many exciting options and I couldn’t wait to start checking things off of my list. I knew that my opinion of New Jersey wasn’t an unpopular one, as it is not the typical tourist destination. Many of my peers even felt the same way as me, but I hope to inform everyone of the hidden wonders that New Jersey has to offer. 

As a college student, I am always looking for a fun way to spend my day, but money can be an issue. New Jersey is filled with affordable choices whether you’re looking for an outdoor adventure, a cool place to visit or even just something to do with friends. 

On this blog I will post about things to do, places to visit and the best ways to make the most of a tourist location for a low price. I will also post about different websites that have helped me to discover the best parts of New Jersey.
